insulin aspart-szjj

Merilog (insulin aspart-szjj) is a rapid-acting human insulin analog biosimilar to NovoLog (insulin aspart), approved for improving glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients with diabetes mellitus. It is administered subcutaneously within 5–10 minutes before a meal and is available in both 10 mL multiple-dose vials and 3 mL single-patient-use prefilled pens. The mechanism of action involves increasing peripheral glucose uptake, especially by skeletal muscle and fat, while inhibiting hepatic glucose production.
