Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Insuwin Forte is a polyherbal Ayurvedic and Siddha formulation developed by SKM Siddha and Ayurveda Company for the management of diabetes mellitus and pancreatitis. The formulation contains a blend of traditional herbs, including *Gymnema sylvestre* (Meshashringi), *Tinospora cordifolia* (Guduchi), and *Emblica officinalis* (Amalaki), alongside traditional Siddha mineral preparations known as parpams and chendoorams. It is designed to lower blood glucose levels by stimulating insulin secretion through the regeneration of pancreatic beta cells, enhancing the activity of enzymes involved in glucose absorption, and regularizing carbohydrate metabolism. It is commercially available as a 550mg tablet and is marketed for its regenerative effects on the pancreas.
