Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INT-005 is a personalized peptide-based cancer vaccine being developed by IMMUNEO Therapeutics for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. The therapy utilizes a personalized peptide immunization approach, which involves identifying patient-specific neoantigens—unique proteins resulting from somatic mutations within an individual's tumor that are not present in healthy tissue. By synthesizing and administering these neoantigen-derived peptides, INT-005 is designed to prime and expand a robust anti-tumor T-cell response tailored to the patient's specific cancer profile. This personalized strategy aims to overcome the typically low immunogenicity of pancreatic tumors. The candidate is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
