Drug intelligence / Profile preview
InteliCAR-T is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by InnobationBio for the treatment of cancer. It is based on the company's proprietary "InteliCAR" (Intelligent CAR-T) platform, which is designed to create "switchable" or "controllable" CAR-T cells. This technology aims to enhance the safety and precision of cell therapies by utilizing a universal CAR-T cell that does not bind directly to tumor antigens. Instead, activation is mediated by an external adapter or "switch" molecule that bridges the CAR-T cell and the target tumor cell. By modulating the administration of this switch molecule, clinicians can potentially control the intensity and duration of the T-cell response, thereby mitigating risks such as cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and off-tumor toxicity. The program is currently in the research and preclinical development phase.
