Overview

Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a cytokine that stimulates the proliferation and activation of T cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and other immune cells, thereby enhancing the body's immune response against cancer. Vincristine is a chemotherapeutic agent that binds to tubulin, inhibiting microtubule formation and thus disrupting mitosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. The combination of interleukin-2 with vincristine has been explored for its potential synergistic effects in cancer therapy by combining immunostimulatory activity with direct cytotoxic action[6]. However, there is limited clinical evidence specifically for this combination in human oncology; most available data are from preclinical or veterinary studies[2].
