Intoleran Quatrase

Intoleran Quatrase is a multi-enzyme digestive supplement designed to aid in the breakdown of fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols (FODMAPs). It contains a specific blend of four enzymes: lactase, xylose isomerase, alpha-galactosidase, and invertase. These enzymes target the digestion of lactose, fructose, galactans, and sucrose, respectively. Developed by the company Intoleran, the product is being evaluated in clinical research, including a randomized cross-over controlled feeding trial sponsored by Monash University, to determine its efficacy in maintaining symptom control in adults with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) who are following a low FODMAP diet. It is formulated as an oral capsule and is certified as Low FODMAP by Monash University.
