Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Intravenous Human Immunoglobulin (IVIG) from Xinjiang Deyuan Bioengineering is a plasma-derived biologic product composed of pooled human immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies. It is manufactured from the plasma of healthy donors and contains a broad spectrum of antibodies against various pathogens and antigens. The mechanism of action involves the passive transfer of these antibodies to provide immediate immunity through the neutralization of pathogens and toxins, as well as immunomodulation in autoimmune or inflammatory conditions via interaction with Fc receptors and the complement system. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), primary immunodeficiency diseases, and other immune-mediated disorders. The product is approved in China and is available in 5% concentrations in various volumes.
