Inulin + sodium selenite (SS) is a combination of the prebiotic fiber inulin and the mineral supplement sodium selenite. Inulin, a polysaccharide belonging to the fructan class, acts as a prebiotic by selectively stimulating the growth of beneficial gut bacteria such as *Bifidobacterium*.
