Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INV-00X is an ultra-high-resolution, disease-specific nano-MRI contrast agent under development by Inventera for the precise diagnosis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Built on Inventera's proprietary Invinity nanomedicine platform, INV-00X utilizes biocompatible iron oxide nanoparticles instead of conventional heavy-metal gadolinium, thereby eliminating risks of gadolinium-associated toxicity and tissue accumulation. The Invinity platform features a polysaccharide-based core with zwitterionic surface charge control, which prevents the formation of a protein corona and minimizes immune-cell phagocytosis. This allows the nanoparticles to remain in circulation longer and accumulate selectively at diseased tissues. INV-00X is designed to enable high-resolution imaging of microvessels down to the 0.1 mm level, addressing diagnostic gaps in microvascular imaging. The candidate is currently in the preclinical (non-clinical) efficacy evaluation stage.
