INV-6452

INV-6452 is an orally administered small-molecule cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor being developed by Ionova Life Science for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a focus on hormone receptor–positive, HER2‑negative (HR+/HER2−) advanced or metastatic breast cancer and locally advanced/metastatic solid malignancies.[1][3] It selectively targets CDK2 and CDK4, aiming to inhibit cell-cycle progression through blockade of G1–S transition, thereby suppressing proliferation of tumor cells that rely on these kinases for growth and potentially overcoming resistance to existing CDK4/6-directed therapies.[1][3] INV-6452 is currently in a first-in-human, multicenter, open-label phase 1/2 clinical trial to determine its recommended dose, maximum tolerated dose, safety, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and preliminary antitumor activity in adult patients with HR+/HER2− breast cancer and other advanced solid tumors.[1][3]
