INV451 is an early-stage, preclinical cell therapy program developed by invIOs. It is part of the EPiC cell therapy platform and focuses on the development of transient chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) immune cells for the treatment of various solid tumors, including lung cancer. The approach uses rapid cell-processing technology to transiently modify immune cells by introducing mRNA encoding a CAR targeting an undisclosed tumor antigen. Additionally, siRNA targeting Cbl-b—a key intracellular checkpoint that negatively regulates T-cell activation—is co-delivered to enhance resistance to immunosuppressive signals in the tumor microenvironment (TME). This dual strategy aims to boost antitumor immunity and increase cytotoxicity against tumors expressing the target CAR-antigen[2][4][7][9].
