INV501 is a novel, orally available small molecule immunostimulant in preclinical development for cancer therapy. It selectively enhances T cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses by activating T cells, increasing their activation markers, proliferation, cytokine secretion, and tumor-specific cytotoxicity. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that INV501 significantly inhibits tumor growth and prolongs survival in multiple solid tumor models—including glioblastoma and melanoma—after oral administration. The compound shows favorable bioavailability and pharmacokinetics, can cross the blood-brain barrier (making it suitable for brain tumors), and has shown strong proof-of-concept data in both in vitro and in vivo systems. Developed by invIOs GmbH (Vienna, Austria), IND-enabling studies are ongoing with plans to advance to clinical trials[1][3][4][5][6].
