Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Investigation agent 2 is a placeholder designation for the second experimental treatment arm in the REFRACT (Relapsed Follicular Lymphoma Randomised Trial Against Standard ChemoTherapy) clinical trial. REFRACT is a Phase II randomized platform trial sponsored by the University of Birmingham and conducted through the UK National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI). The trial is designed to evaluate sequential novel therapies against investigator-choice standard chemotherapy in patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma. While the first experimental arm (Round 1) of the trial utilizes a combination of the CD3xCD20 bispecific antibody epcoritamab and the immunomodulatory agent lenalidomide, the specific identity of Investigation agent 2 has not yet been confirmed. According to trial records, this second round is estimated to open for enrollment in the fourth quarter of 2025.
