It is currently undergoing Phase 3a clinical trials to assess its immunogenicity and safety. The vaccine is intended to prevent varicella (chickenpox) in healthy children aged 12 to 15 months, administered as both a first and second dose, and is being compared against the approved Varivax vaccine.
