Overview

INVIVO mAb Anti CTLA4 is a DNA/RNA-based therapeutic candidate developed by SET Technology for the treatment of various cancers. The therapy utilizes a proprietary platform to deliver genetic material (DNA or RNA) that encodes a monoclonal antibody targeting Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4). Upon administration, the patient's own cells express and secrete the anti-CTLA-4 antibody in vivo. This antibody acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking the interaction between CTLA-4 on T cells and its ligands (CD80/CD86) on antigen-presenting cells. This blockade prevents the inhibitory signaling that normally dampens T-cell activity, thereby enhancing the immune system's anti-tumor response. This approach combines the specificity of monoclonal antibody therapy with the manufacturing and delivery advantages of nucleic acid platforms.
