Invossa K

Invossa K is a **first-in-class allogeneic cell and gene therapy** specifically developed for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. It is delivered via a single intra-articular injection. The product contains 293 cells (HEK293-derived) that secrete **transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta)** protein, which promotes cartilage regeneration and suppresses inflammatory responses in the joint. Invossa K was initially approved in South Korea in 2017 (now revoked), and has undergone extensive clinical trials showing pain relief, functional improvement, and decreased progression of osteoarthritis.
