Drug intelligence / Profile preview
INX-0167 is an immunostimulatory liposomal biologic formulation developed by INEX Pharmaceuticals. It consists of synthetic oligonucleotides encapsulated within a proprietary liposomal delivery system. The drug is designed to stimulate the immune system, specifically by increasing the number and activity of natural killer (NK) cells and T-lymphocytes. By boosting NK cell activity, INX-0167 enhances antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), making it a potent candidate for combination therapy with monoclonal antibodies. Preclinical studies have demonstrated synergistic anti-tumor effects when combined with rituximab for B-cell lymphoma and trastuzumab for HER2-positive tumors.
