IO-106

IO-106 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody that antagonizes Leukocyte-Associated Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor 1 (LAIR1), an immune inhibitory receptor. It is being developed as a potential treatment for solid tumors, particularly collagen-rich solid tumors. Preclinical research demonstrates that IO-106 can reverse collagen-mediated immune suppression and mobilize anti-tumor immunity of multiple cell types including lymphocytes and myeloid cells. The drug has potential as both a monotherapy and in combination with anti-PD-(L)1 or other immunotherapies. IO-106 was selected as a clinical development candidate by Immune-Onc Therapeutics in April 2022 and entered into Investigational New Drug application (IND)-enabling studies with targeted IND submission in the first half of 2023.
