Overview
IO Prime is an oral bacterial immunotherapy platform developed by Prokarium, designed as an immune training agent for indication-agnostic cancer immunotherapy. It utilizes Prokarium's proprietary attenuated *Salmonella enterica* serovar Typhi strain (ZH9) to prime the immune system and restore anti-tumor responses. By training the immune system through oral administration, IO Prime aims to boost the efficacy of existing immunotherapies and provide a treatment option for the approximately 80% of cancer patients who do not currently respond to advanced immunotherapies. The program is in the IND-enabling stage and is positioned for clinical development.
