Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**IO112** is an investigational, off-the-shelf therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by IO Biotech from its T-win platform. It contains a single arginase-1-derived peptide intended to activate and expand arginase-1-specific human T cells. The resulting T-cell response is designed to recognize arginase-1-expressing tumor cells and immunosuppressive cells in the tumor microenvironment, particularly tumor-associated macrophages and other myeloid populations, thereby promoting a more pro-inflammatory, antitumor microenvironment. IO112 is not a direct arginase enzyme inhibitor. Publicly described tumor settings include renal cell carcinoma, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer.
