iodinated cyclic RGD radioimmunoconjugate

Iodinated cyclic RGD radioimmunoconjugate is a radiopharmaceutical consisting of a cyclic RGD (arginine-glycine-aspartate) peptide labeled with iodine-131 (131I). Developed by Zhongao Biomedical Technology, this agent is designed for internal radiation therapy. It specifically targets integrin αvβ3 receptors, which are highly expressed on the surface of tumor cells and tumor neovasculature. By binding to these receptors, the conjugate delivers localized beta-radiation from the 131I isotope to induce DNA damage and cell death in cancer tissues. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and esophageal cancer.
