IONC301 is an autologous immunomodulatory cell-based therapy being developed by iOncologi for the treatment of pediatric glioblastoma (GBM). The therapy consists of patient-derived hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) enriched for CD34 and lineage-negative (Lin-) markers, along with an additional undisclosed marker. IONC301 is designed to induce a systemic immune "reboot" and reprogram the immune environment to modulate anti-tumor immunity. Preclinical evidence suggests that this approach can enhance responsiveness to PD-1 checkpoint inhibitors in resistant glioblastoma models. The candidate is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in pediatric patients.
