Overview

Iparomlimab + tuvonralimab + albumin-bound paclitaxel is a combination therapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal malignancies. The regimen consists of **QL1706**, a bifunctional antibody product developed by **Qilu Pharmaceutical** that combines the anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody **iparomlimab** and the anti-CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody **tuvonralimab**, administered alongside **albumin-bound paclitaxel** (nab-paclitaxel). QL1706 is designed to simultaneously block two key immune checkpoints, thereby enhancing the activation and proliferation of T-cells against tumor cells. Albumin-bound paclitaxel is a nanoparticle formulation of the taxane chemotherapy agent paclitaxel, which stabilizes microtubules to inhibit cell division. This combination is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials (such as those led by investigator **Qingxia Li**) as a second-line treatment for patients with advanced **gastric adenocarcinoma** or **gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma** who have failed prior therapies.
