Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QL1706 + paclitaxel + carboplatin + bevacizumab is an investigational combination regimen being developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including cervical cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and ovarian cancer. The regimen combines QL1706 (iparomlimab and tuvonralimab)—a novel MabPair-derived bifunctional antibody mixture targeting both programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4)—with standard-of-care chemotherapy (the microtubule stabilizer paclitaxel and the platinum-based DNA-damaging agent carboplatin) and the anti-angiogenic monoclonal antibody bevacizumab (which targets VEGF-A). By combining dual immune checkpoint inhibition with cytotoxic chemotherapy and anti-angiogenesis, this multi-mechanistic regimen aims to synergistically enhance anti-tumor immune responses, disrupt tumor vasculature, and induce immunogenic cell death. In clinical trials, such as the Phase III trial in persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer, the addition of QL1706 to chemotherapy with or without bevacizumab demonstrated significant improvements in progression-free and overall survival.
