Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Iparomlimab + tuvorralimab (QL1706) is a novel bifunctional biologic combination developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical using its proprietary MabPair technology. It consists of two engineered monoclonal antibodies—iparomlimab, an anti-PD-1 IgG4 antibody, and tuvorralimab, an anti-CTLA-4 IgG1 antibody—produced by a single cell line and combined in a fixed 2:1 ratio. This dual-checkpoint inhibitor is designed to simultaneously block the PD-1 and CTLA-4 pathways, potentially offering superior efficacy and a more manageable safety profile compared to traditional combinations of separate antibodies. QL1706 is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials for various malignancies, including cervical cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
