Drug intelligence / Profile preview
iPLTs-04 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy developed by HemaCell Therapeutics (also known as Xue Ji Bio) for the treatment of thrombocytopenia. The therapy utilizes platelets differentiated from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to restore or enhance platelet function in patients with low platelet counts. By leveraging proprietary stem cell reprogramming and differentiation technologies, iPLTs-04 aims to provide a scalable and potentially unlimited source of functional platelets. Specifically designated as an O-type product, it is designed for broad compatibility to address the limitations and supply constraints associated with donor-derived platelet transfusions.
