Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Duoprl is a combination inhalation therapy marketed by Pristine Pearl Pharma, primarily used for the treatment and management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It is formulated as respules for nebulization and contains two active bronchodilating agents: ipratropium bromide, a short-acting anticholinergic (muscarinic antagonist), and levosalbutamol (levalbuterol), a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. Together, these components work synergistically to relax bronchial smooth muscle, reduce mucus secretion, and widen the airways, thereby improving airflow and relieving symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.
