Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IPS-08001 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor developed by InnoPharmaScreen, a South Korean biotechnology company. It is designed as a dual inhibitor of the TAM receptor family, specifically targeting AXL and MER (MERTK) receptor tyrosine kinases. These receptors are frequently overexpressed in various cancers and play critical roles in tumor cell survival, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), metastasis, and immune evasion within the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting AXL and MER, IPS-08001 aims to suppress tumor growth and enhance the efficacy of other therapies, such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, by promoting a more pro-inflammatory immune response. The drug is currently being investigated for the treatment of solid tumors and acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
