IPSC-GDNKT is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cell therapy product composed of gamma delta natural killer T (γδ NKT) cells generated from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) using a proprietary differentiation protocol. Developed by CytoMed Therapeutics through technologies licensed from Accelerate Technologies, IPSC-GDNKT cells possess surface markers and innate cytotoxic properties of both γδ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, enabling broad-spectrum recognition and killing of cancer cells without the need for genetic modification. These engineered cells function as potent immune effectors—directly killing cancer cells via perforin/granzyme and other cytotoxic pathways, and potentially activating endogenous NK and cytotoxic T cells. IPSC-GDNKT is being advanced for the immunotherapy of both solid and hematological malignancies, with a strategy aimed at scalable, donor-independent manufacturing and application in allogeneic clinical settings.[1][3][7]
