iPSC Vasculogenic Cell (Pulmonary Hypertension) is an experimental cell therapy being developed by Vascugen for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension. The therapy utilizes induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that are differentiated into specialized vasculogenic cells designed to repair and regenerate damaged blood vessels. In the context of pulmonary hypertension, these cells are intended to restore the pulmonary microvasculature, thereby reducing pulmonary vascular resistance and improving overall lung and cardiac function. The program is being developed in collaboration with the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and is currently in the research stage of development.
