Overview

IPX-A is a dual proteasome inhibitor developed by IpiNovyx Bio for the treatment of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including ulcerative colitis. It targets both the standard (constitutive) proteasome and the immunoproteasome. In preclinical studies using human ulcerative colitis tissue explant cultures, IPX-A demonstrated the ability to reduce inflammatory signaling by significantly inhibiting the expression of key inflammatory biomarkers such as IL-8, IP-10, MIP-1b, IL-17, TNFb/LT-a, VEGF, and IL-10 [Sa1437].
