Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IQP-GC-101 is a patented blend of standardized extracts from Garcinia cambogia, Camellia sinensis (green tea), unroasted Coffea arabica (coffee), and Lagerstroemia speciosa (banaba). It is formulated as a dietary supplement intended for weight management in overweight and mildly obese adults. Clinical studies have shown that IQP-GC-101 can result in modest reductions in body weight and body fat mass compared to placebo when combined with an energy-restricted diet. The individual components are believed to act through mechanisms such as appetite suppression, inhibition of fat absorption, increased energy expenditure, and modulation of glucose metabolism; however, the precise mechanism of action for the blend itself has not been fully established. The product was developed by InQpharm Group[1][2][3][4][7].
