IR208 (also known as IR-208 or AI 208) is a first-in-class therapeutic T-cell receptor (TCR) peptide vaccine developed for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, particularly secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. It acts as an immunostimulant by targeting specific T-cell populations to modulate immune responses implicated in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. The drug has received orphan drug designation for this indication and is being developed by Immune Response BioPharma and Orchestra Therapeutics. The product is also referred to under the brand name NeuroVax[4][1][2].
