Drug intelligence / Profile preview
iRIV-XT is an oral nutritional supplement tablet developed by Rivchem Pharmaceuticals. It is a fixed-dose combination of ferrous ascorbate, folic acid, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), and zinc. The supplement is primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of nutritional deficiencies and iron deficiency anemia, particularly in conditions such as pregnancy, menstruation, poor diet, or recovery after blood loss. Ferrous ascorbate provides a highly bioavailable form of iron to replenish iron stores and support hemoglobin synthesis, while folic acid and cyanocobalamin are essential for red blood cell production and DNA synthesis. Zinc is included to support immune function, cellular metabolism, and overall growth.
