Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IRL942 is a preclinical-stage small molecule candidate developed by IRLAB Therapeutics for the treatment of cognitive dysfunction associated with Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders. It is part of IRLAB's neuropsychiatric pipeline and was the subject of an evaluation agreement with the McQuade Center for Strategic Research and Development (MSRD), an affiliate of Otsuka, in May 2023. The compound aims to address cognitive impairment, a significant non-motor symptom in neurodegenerative conditions, by potentially modulating neurotransmitter systems involved in frontal lobe function.
