Overview

irradiated MMC10-AD whole tumor cell vaccine is an experimental, preclinical whole-cell cancer vaccine derived from the MMC10-AD mouse mammary carcinoma cell line. The MMC10-AD cell line is established by culturing spontaneous breast tumor cells from Her-2/neu transgenic mice in standard, adherent (AD) serum-containing conditions. The vaccine consists of these cells after they have been lethally irradiated. In preclinical research, it is utilized to study immune tolerance and evaluate the priming of CD4+ and CD8+ neu-reactive T cells, often serving as a comparative control to vaccines derived from breast cancer stem-like cells (MMC10-BCSC).
