Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IS-002 is an autologous T cell receptor-engineered T cell (TCR-T) therapy currently in preclinical development by ImmunoScape for the treatment of Wilms' tumor 1 (WT1) positive cancers. The therapy utilizes T cells that have been genetically modified to express a specific T cell receptor identified through ImmunoScape's proprietary DeepImmunology platform. This platform allows for the identification of rare, high-affinity TCRs from healthy donors or convalescent patients. IS-002 is designed to recognize and bind to WT1-derived peptides presented by human leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecules on the surface of tumor cells, leading to the targeted destruction of the cancer cells. It follows ImmunoScape's lead candidate, IS-001, likely targeting a different HLA restriction or utilizing a distinct TCR sequence to broaden the treatable patient population for WT1-expressing solid tumors.
