Overview

ISA106 is a synthetic long peptide (SLP) immunotherapy developed to elicit a strong and specific T cell immune response against multiple SARS-CoV-2 antigens, including the spike (S), membrane (M), and nucleoprotein (N) sequences. Unlike prophylactic vaccines that aim to prevent infection, ISA106 is designed as a therapeutic agent for patients already infected with SARS-CoV-2, with the goal of clearing established infections and preventing progression to severe disease such as pneumonia or ICU admission. The therapy leverages robust T cell activation to target multiple viral proteins, potentially reducing the risk of immune escape by viral variants. It is being developed using ISA Pharmaceuticals' proprietary SLP platform technology and is currently in late-stage preclinical development for COVID-19[1][3][4][6].
