**iSCLife-LC (also denoted as 19#iSCLife®-LC or SCLnow-XY-04)** is an investigational biologic therapy consisting of human umbilical cord (hUC) mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) administered via peripheral intravenous injection. Developed for regenerative applications in liver disease, it aims to improve liver function in decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis by leveraging the immunomodulatory, anti-fibrotic, and regenerative properties of MSCs, which may reduce inflammation, promote tissue repair, and enhance survival metrics like Child-Pugh and MELD scores. Primary evaluation focuses on safety in Phase 1 trials, with secondary outcomes on efficacy and potential mechanisms of action in patients with Child-Pugh B/C liver function.[1][2]
