iSCLife-LDP is a biological cell therapy developed by Sclnow Biotechnology Co., Ltd., consisting of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs). It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of early-stage lumbar discogenic pain, a condition characterized by endogenous pain within the intervertebral disc. The therapy is administered via intravertebral disc injection at a concentration of 2×10^7 cells/ml, often in combination with low-temperature plasma ablation. The treatment aims to leverage the regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties of mesenchymal stem cells to repair disc tissue and alleviate chronic back pain in patients who have been symptomatic for more than six months.
