Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ISH0688 is a recombinant human IgG1 Fc-fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) fusion protein developed by SUNHO BioPharmaceutical for the treatment of metabolic disorders, including hyperlipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia. FGF21 is a metabolic hormone that plays a crucial role in regulating glucose and lipid homeostasis, improving insulin sensitivity, and promoting energy expenditure. By fusing the FGF21 moiety with an IgG1 Fc fragment, ISH0688 is designed to have an extended half-life, allowing for a once-monthly (Q4W) subcutaneous dosing regimen. In clinical studies, it is being evaluated for its safety, tolerability, and ability to improve lipid profiles in patients with elevated triglycerides and cholesterol.
