Drug intelligence / Profile preview
İzovef is a topical combination cream developed by Vefa İlaç, containing the antifungal agent isoconazole nitrate (1%) and the potent corticosteroid diflucortolone valerate (0.1%). It is indicated for the initial or intermediate treatment of fungal skin infections accompanied by highly inflammatory or eczematous skin conditions, such as tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and candidiasis. Isoconazole nitrate provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds by inhibiting fungal cell membrane synthesis. Diflucortolone valerate acts to reduce inflammation, itching, and burning associated with the infection. İzovef is a generic version of the reference drug Travocort.
