Leebact is a pharmaceutical-grade branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) preparation consisting of L-isoleucine, L-leucine, and L-valine in a specific ratio (typically 1:2:1.2). Developed and marketed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical in Japan, it is primarily indicated for the improvement of hypoalbuminemia in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis who maintain adequate oral intake.
