Overview

**ISR52** is an investigational, adjuvanted SARS-CoV-2 protein-subunit booster vaccine developed by ISR Immune System Regulation. It contains SARS-CoV-2 Spike S1 Alpha protein with the PolyICLC adjuvant and is being developed as a spray-dried dry-powder product for intranasal and inhaled administration. The vaccine is intended to induce respiratory mucosal and systemic immunity against COVID-19, including spike-specific CD4-positive and CD8-positive T-cell responses, neutralizing antibodies, and cross-reactive IgG and IgA responses. In mouse challenge studies, intranasal or intratracheal administration provided greater protection against severe infection than subcutaneous administration of the same vaccine.
