isuzinaxib

Isuzinaxib is a small molecule pan-NADPH oxidase (NOX) inhibitor under clinical investigation for several indications, including acute kidney injury (AKI), contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI), diabetic nephropathy, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and COVID‑19. It acts by inhibiting NOX enzymes, thereby reducing oxidative stress and pro-inflammatory cytokine production. Isuzinaxib is being developed by AptaBio Therapeutics and has reached Phase II clinical trials for AKI, diabetic nephropathy, and COVID‑19 infections[2][6][7]. The drug is administered orally.
