Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ISV-620 is a small molecule prostaglandin analog developed by InSite Vision (now a subsidiary of Sun Pharma) for cosmetic eyelash enhancement. The product is formulated using the proprietary DuraSite drug delivery technology, a mucoadhesive polymer-based system designed to stabilize the drug and extend its residence time on the ocular surface. By acting as an agonist at prostaglandin receptors, ISV-620 is intended to promote the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle, resulting in longer, thicker, and darker lashes. The program was reported to be in the IND-enabling stage of development prior to the acquisition of InSite Vision by Sun Pharma.
