Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ITA001 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by Immunoah Therapeutics that acts as an antagonist of **Leukocyte Immunoglobulin Like Receptor B4 (LILRB4)**, also known as **ILT3**. LILRB4 is an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor predominantly expressed on myeloid cells, such as monocytic acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) within the tumor microenvironment. By binding to LILRB4 and blocking its interaction with ligands like APOE, ITA001 aims to reverse myeloid-mediated immune suppression, thereby restoring T-cell activity and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is currently being investigated for the treatment of various solid tumors and hematological malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia.
