Overview

ITA020 is a humanized monoclonal antibody agonist developed by Immunoah Therapeutics that targets CD137 (also known as 4-1BB or TNFRSF9). CD137 is a co-stimulatory receptor belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily, primarily expressed on the surface of activated T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. By binding to the extracellular domain of CD137, ITA020 mimics the action of its natural ligand (4-1BBL), triggering downstream signaling pathways that promote T-cell survival, expansion, and enhanced effector functions, such as cytokine production and cytotoxicity. This mechanism is intended to bolster the immune system's anti-tumor response. ITA020 is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors.
