Overview

ITA033 is a preclinical-stage agonist monoclonal antibody developed by Immunoah Therapeutics. It is designed to target and activate the 4-1BB (CD137) receptor, a co-stimulatory molecule and member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF9) expressed on activated T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. By acting as an agonist, ITA033 triggers signaling pathways that enhance T-cell proliferation, survival, and effector functions, thereby strengthening the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. The drug is being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors, potentially as a monotherapy or in combination with other checkpoint inhibitors to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.
