Overview

ITA038 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by Immunoah Therapeutics that functions as an agonist of the Inducible T-cell COStimulator (ICOS, also known as CD278). ICOS is a costimulatory receptor expressed on the surface of activated T cells, including effector T cells and regulatory T cells (Tregs). By targeting ICOS, ITA038 is designed to stimulate T-cell proliferation and enhance the production of cytokines, thereby promoting a robust anti-tumor immune response. The development of ITA038 focuses on oncology, particularly for the treatment of advanced solid tumors where it may be used as a monotherapy or in combination with other immunotherapies, such as PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, to overcome resistance and improve therapeutic efficacy.
